LCE is pleased to introduce our new Data Manager, James Beasley

We are pleased to welcome James Beasley to our rapidly growing team here at LCE as our new Data Manager. James’s experience in data management, working within large and small organisations, has given him the ability to recognise which data infrastructures will be complementary to LCE and build a tailored data strategy to match.

We asked James a few questions about his work and personal interests.

What are you passionate about? Investigating, digging and trying to find the answer, so I can fully understand what I am dealing with, so I enjoying learning (how things work)

What’s the best task you are working on right now?

Creating a SharePoint so all my reports, activity and documentation can be seen in one place

Do you have a talent or hobby you do outside of work?

I enjoy going to the gym or watching Chelsea play and win.

What is the most exciting part about your job?

There is so much to do, but I should slowly start seeing the benefits and making everything a little more streamlined and efficient.

Can you describe your typical day working in the LCE Team?

Currently, it’s trying to get the ground work done as far as documentation and analysis of process, systems, users and data
