Mindset 2050 : Taking Action Now To Secure The Future

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Mindset 2050 service, helping organisations to change the way they tackle sustainability. Providing help at any stage of the journey by going further than compliance alone and helping organisations comprehensively embed sustainable practices into their business.

We believe sustainability reaches far beyond the environment, it is more than being seen as ‘green’ or simply abiding by environmental legislation; it is a chance to nurture a better economy, better businesses, society and government. In today’s marketplace short term thinking is no longer a viable business or organisational strategy. It is important to identify and implement the things that will help make an organisation sustainable.

The 2008 Climate Change Act established the world’s first legally binding climate change target. The aim is to reduce the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% (from the 1990 baseline) by 2050. The only way to reach this goal is through a comprehensive and holistic approach to assessing and reducing the rate at which resources are being consumed by your business in order to provide its products and services.

If properly implemented, sustainability drives a bottom-line strategy to save costs, alongside a strategy to find and develop employees and of course, a means to win new customers.

Our Mindset 2050 service is designed to target all of these key areas and find ways to improve efficiency across the board. In doing so, we can help organisations make real savings and safe-guard against the effects of climate change. The key services we provide include:

  1. Create Sustainable Development Management Plans/ Carbon Management Plans and implement deliverable action plans

  2. Ensure legal compliance and control reporting

  3. Achieve cost savings and reduce overheads

  4. Reduce reputational risk and achieve competitive advantage through positive engagement

  5. Identify areas of potential wastage and gain an understanding of resource consumption

  6. Reduce threats associated with the impacts of climate change and build commercial resilience

  7. Comprehensive workforce engagement and “buy in
