Low Carbon Europe is now on the G-Cloud 8 Framework

Low Carbon Europe (LCE) has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 8 Framework. G-Cloud is a digital market place away from a simple catalogue of services. It provides the public sector a single place to find what it needs for its projects.

The services began in 2012 and by May 2013 over 700 suppliers were listed. With the adoption of the clouds first policy in the UK sales through this portal have continued to grow and have now reached £1,331,665,890.

The digital market place procurement process handles selection and procurement of services, assuming funds are available. Procurement through the digital market place does not require tender or competition. The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) works with both departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services. Buying services through the framework is faster and cheaper than individually procuring.

Doug Bailey Group CEO said “we are very pleased that LCE have been awarded this place on the Framework, it underpins us as a key national supplier of advisory services into the public sector. We very much look forward to working alongside our public sector clients to achieve greater operational efficiencies and financial returns that far outweigh their investment with us”
