Low Carbon Europe are pleased to announce that we have become the first Associate Partner of the Planet Mark™ in the latest step to expand the reach of the internationally-recognised certification programme.
The Planet Mark™ in partnership with the Eden Project The Planet Mark™ is an internationally-recognised and trusted sustainability certification programme recognising commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability. It’s partnered with the iconic Eden Project to put climate change and the environment at the top of the business agenda. Its mission is to empower organisations and their people to make year-on-year progress on sustainability.
The Planet Mark™ programme makes sustainability easy, leaving your organisation free to enjoy all the benefits and opportunities. The certification is a complete package, combining robust measurement, employee engagement and communications. We work closely with you to ensure that The Planet Mark works for you and helps meet your needs. Typically, Planet Mark-certified organisations cut their carbon footprint by 5% per employee per annum against a 2.5% target.

Free tickets to Eden Project – a small proportion of every Planet Mark Certificate is invested in Eden Project to support education on climate change and help organisations improve their sustainability performance 3. A pledge from us to protect an acre of rainforest through the award-winning charity Cool Earth.
Corporate Sustainability The aim of the Planet Mark™ Certification Programme is to ensure every organisation grows economically by improving its environmental and social performance. Through rigorous carbon footprint measurement and reporting, The Planet Mark™ provides assurance that an organisation is addressing its corporate sustainability impact meaningfully. The programme builds employee and stakeholder engagement and creates positive environmental and social change. Uniquely, it develops knowledge and communication skills so as to embed sustainability within organisations.
The Planet Mark™ Certification The Planet Mark™ programmes makes sustainability easy, leaving your business free to enjoy all the benefits and opportunities. The Planet Mark™ for Business This programme focuses on business operations and associated carbon emissions in organisations of all sizes typically making savings of 5% per employee per annum.
The Planet Mark™ for Properties Engaging tenants and occupiers to help lower costs and carbon, this programme can measure carbon in common parts of a multi tenanted building or an entire property.
The Planet Mark™ for New Developments The New Developments certification is for new builds. It includes an LCA and considers both embodied and operational carbon as well as the engagement of suppliers and the community.
