LCE welcomes new apprentice

For many years LCE have supported apprenticeships and we have recently welcomed Heather Iveson to the team as a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice. This qualification is aimed at individuals working in a business admin role, its sole purpose is to help develop skills, knowledge and understanding across a wide range of tasks.

Heather joined us last month and has already made a very positive impact, she has a very professional approach to her work ethic and is very keen to learn.

Heather is a talented dancer which has led her to compete in many competitions, she also won the Rotary Award by The Duke for completing over 200 hours of voluntary work at an animal shelter and cat sanctuary. Heather also has a love for travelling, she has already been to many places including Africa, Mexico and Greece and has a trip to Jamaica planned for next year!

Heather said, “From the age of 13, I have always wanted to be in the working world, I was born in Brighton and so it’s great to currently be part of team so close to home. I am excited to be part of the team and really appreciate the guidance and mentoring I have already been receiving.”

Emma Rudd, Head of Business Administration said, “We are really pleased to welcome Heather to the role, we believe apprenticeships are a great way for young people to gain a valuable on-the-job experience.”

Heather will take on many responsibilities within the business including assisting with our CRM system, administering the project management system as well as other general administrative duties, enabling her to gain the relevant skills and experience. Along the way we will provide Heather with the training, resources and support she will need to achieve the apprenticeship.
