LCE were pleased to host our Health Facilities Management networking event at the Eastbourne Airshow on Friday 16th August 2019.
The event was attended by directors and senior management from some of the largest NHS Trusts and Universities in London and the Home Counties.
The theme of the event was ‘Design Margins and the Impact on Building Services Performance’. We presented some of our successful case studies in this field and LCE Managing Director Darren Jones presented an update on his ongoing PHD research into the over design of plant within the healthcare-built environment. We reflected on the challenges our industry faces for the remainder of the year and beyond.
It wasn’t all work; we saw the fantastic flying displays from the modern-day Typhoon as well as the traditional wing walker acrobatic team and got the chance to relax by the seaside (despite the Great British weather not playing ball).
