LCE is pleased to introduce our new Energy Data Analyst, George Mulholland

We are delighted to welcome George to our growing team, who is joining us as an Energy Data Analyst. George has a strong passion centred around human and physical geography after four years of study, so working in the environmental industry is the perfect fit!

Darren Jones, LCE Managing Director said, “I’m very pleased to welcome George to the LCE team. I look forward to him getting more involved in supporting our clients in their efforts to become more resource efficient”.

George said, “I am really pleased to be joining LCE, so far I am enjoying the variety of the job and the fact that the projects I will be analysing can have a strong impact on decarbonisation.”

We asked George a few questions about both work and his personal interests.

Why did you choose a career in the Energy and Environmental industry?

I have always had a strong passion centred around Human and Physical Geography as a by-product of A-level and four years in academia, specifically climate change and how this is currently a grave, existential threat to the social, economic, and political development of people not only in my home country but globally by the end of this century.

I therefore share a united desire like many others, to help respond and adapt to this phenomenon amidst the ongoing bleakness of the long-term statistical adjustment in climate because of anthropogenic and natural forcings. To be working in the Environmental Industry, subsequently, is the perfect fit.

Who inspires you?

David Attenborough, due to their ongoing willingness to help the environment and spread the message of the ongoing effects of climate and Steven Gerrard, due to their work ethic and prior footballing abilities.

What are you passionate about?

Climate change, football, art, and the gym.

What’s the best task you are working on right now?

I took part in an Energy Audit at Shepperton Pre-School for Spelthorne Borough Council where we assessed its energy efficiency.

Do you have a talent or hobby you do outside of work?

I go to the gym and play sports (football, tennis) regularly. Also, a keen artist.

What are your personal plans/goals for the coming year?

Aiming to have a positive influence in meeting company goals.

Welcome to the team George!
